I'm tuckered!
We had a busy weekend having fun with friends and family. Ty loves swinging and playing with his friends. It's amazing how quickly life changes after having a baby. Daylight saving time doesn't mean a thing, late nights aren't appealing, and early dinners are a must. It's our new normal-and we love it!

I'm a growing boy!
I can't believe Halloween is tomorrow and that means Ty's 6 month birthday is just around the corner. He has been expanding his food palette. He even likes prunes! Given his size, there really isn't much he won't tolerate. Yesterday he had his first friend sleep over (i.e., well, spend a couple of hours); Quinn was naturally an angel baby to watch.
Tyler is officially a mover. He enjoys belly crawling, belly turning, sitting, pulling up to knees and to his feet. I caught him yesterday standing up in his crib. So, he is reaching milestones at lightening speeds in my eyes.
Here are some pics of the 5 months.

It's going to be a long winter
Ty was blessed with his first cold this week. As if sending him to daycare wasn't bad enough, now he comes home with a runny nose, cough and boogies in his eyes. Thank you to a friend who told me about boogie wipes (yes, that's right). Despite getting 2 shots, and being sick, Ty still manages to smile. He is truly a love!

Working Mama
It's been awhile since I've posted!
Ty started Daycare on 8.24 and did a nice job adjusting to his new environment. I on the other hand had a more difficult time transitioning! I guess that is to be expected. As a new mother, when I selected a center-based daycare it was in part because I felt that they would match well with my type A personality. However, now that he is attending one, all I want is for a little Italian grandmother to kiss and love my child all day long. I have to remember to give it time and trust my instincts. Ughhh! The good news is, I got to spend 1 entire week off with my little happy man after his 3 day venture at daycare. I guess his daycare experience allowed me to better appreciate my time with him, even when we had no power for four days (thanks tropical storm). As a mother, my wish for Ty is to continue to be as happy as he is for the rest of his life. Keep smiling busy boy!
Here are some pics of our adventures this past month!
