March- 10 months
When it rains it pours! Despite our efforts to stay heathly, we are all suffering from colds - Ugh! Joe actually had it tougher this month than most, struggling with Pneumonia. I always thought I knew how helpful Joe was, but this week has given me a new found appreciation. Parenting is certainly a team sport, and I am very much looking forward to a speedy recovery – I want my team back!

Feb Update
It's been awhile since I've posted. There is less free time for blogging.
Despite the mild winter, we as a family, are still battling runny noses, and ongoing coughs. Even though Joe and I are running on much less sleep these days, we are eager to wake up and start each adventure with Ty. Yes, we call them adventures. Our little man has really developed his personality. He is the very determined, curious, stubborn, and but most of all very sweet. His smile is simply amazing.
He has 6 teeth,
Claps his hands
initiates peek a boo
has several sounds (proud mama)
Tries to throw his ball around (drop it really)
Eats some finger foods
Weighs 23 lbs (we are very healthy)
Started taking 2 steps without holding on
For those of you who know me well, you know how much 9 months is my absolute favorite age. Mostly because most kids demonstrate what I call an "interactive burst." So, I am bursting with joy! This is also the age when my son has decided to test boundaries. He is finding out that Mommy is strict!
I will post some pics soon.
For those moms that are reading...please share some first finger food favs. I'm running out of ideas.

The little things...
January is finally here! This weekend we enjoyed our first "real" snow storm (well Ty and me).
Joe I'm sure could have done without the shoveling/snowblowing. It is amazing to watch our little man explore his world. Watching him grow and learn is so much fun. He has found much fun "helping" with daily chores, exploring places in the house, and finding the smallest particles on the floor.
Here are some of his recent explorations:

Here are some of his recent explorations:
Helping with Laundry
"helping" with groceries
"Boots, can these go in my mouth?"
He thinks it's so funny to be on the other side
scrub a dub...Tyler is going in the tub
He loves bubbles
"helping" Daddy
Priceless

I'm tuckered!
We had a busy weekend having fun with friends and family. Ty loves swinging and playing with his friends. It's amazing how quickly life changes after having a baby. Daylight saving time doesn't mean a thing, late nights aren't appealing, and early dinners are a must. It's our new normal-and we love it!
