Yes, these players spent half the day at our school, answering questions, sharing stories, and interacting with our students.  It was so amazing how our students responded!

I'm in my 38th week and "progressing!"   Yes, "progressing" in every sense of the word (e.g., growing out, and reaching a whopping 2cm).

Just a little story:  I've been trying to keep busy, as I am on vacation this week.  So, I tried to squeeze in one last errand before my bladder was going to give.  As I entered the drug store, a little old woman decided to ignore the clear signs that I was not the person to ask assistance from (e.g., waddling, slow walking, no eye contact, 9 MONTHS PREGNANT).  She so calmly requested, "excuse me, Miss.  You are taller than me can you reach those cookies on the top shelf?"  I just granted her request and kept on waddling to my destination.  She was lucky my hormones were balanced that day and my filter was working!  Ughhh! 

Something is happening

37 weeks today!  Doc said things were happening...1cm and 70% effaced.  I'm feeling a little less energy to work out these days.  I think Joe and I need to really pack our bags soon.  :) 

36 weeks

It's been awhile since I've written in..trying to sort through all of our wonderful baby gear!  How can one little person need so much stuff? 

 Looking forward to another 4 + weeks of waiting, I just hope my emotions are more regulated.  Joe has been a saint! 

 I think we are anticipating the arrival our little one...he told me the other day he wants to stay close to home!  So, I guess that trip to NH is out of the question :).  To be honest, I'm not so sure the car ride would be fun. 

33 weeks

It was an exciting week for us!  We celebrated 33 weeks and saw the little guy via ultrasound.  He was an active little man.  His head was down...and the movements I've been feeling under my ribs are his little kicks.  He let us see his face this time around, and yes, his lips look good (as an SLP I had to see the lips). Let's hope he continues to enjoy his head down position.  He is weighing in at 4.6 lbs, so he is expected to be 7 or 8 lbs.  I'm hoping for around 7.6. 

32 Weeks!

8 weeks left to go!  We are down to single digits...:)

I had my shower this weekend.  It was so beautiful!  Everyone was so incredibly generous; I don't think we need a thing.  I feel so very blessed to have such amazing friends and family.  Big hugs to all, and thanks for making this a memorable experience.

-          A beautiful necklace from my Mom and Dad with a blue stone to symbolize our blueberry boy
